Can somebody explain "Dedicated Shared Hosting"?

Yes it is in between normal shared hosting and vps. However if done correctly chances are you would never need a VPS and instead when you get to big you go right to dedicated machine.

Normal shared hosting=Server packed full of sites. TOS restricts server resources usage to lets say 10% at any givin time. Concurrent connections are usually restricted to a low amount. your site will suffer if you hit any limit imposed. IE they are hard limits. site suffers when other sites use to much resources, slow loading mysql connection issues ect. Normally very cheap prices.

Dedicated Shared Hosting. Server has very few sites on them. Very relax on server resource usage. slow loading site and mysql connection problems are very rare. No learning curve like VPS/Dedi. Servers are usually top of the line multi proccesers/cores min 8 gigs ram ect. noramlly twice the cost of normal shared hosting.
